Each year I teeter on whether or not to include Driftwood Beach in the Senior Model Team destination session options… but every year I just cannot say no to it!
Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island is just such a unique location with so many interesting ways to photograph my senior girls there! The grove of trees gnarled by the wind on the path as you go to the beach makes a stunning backdrop to start off with. Then it’s the pieces of driftwood itself which has endless posing opportunities! Then we always give them the option to get into the water at the end, which usually creates comical situations and gorgeous images as a result!
Driftwood Beach is here to stay, at least for 2023 SMT and I can’t wait to see what gems we get from it again this coming up season!
