While ALLLL of my girls this season of the Senior Model Team are incredibly sweet, sometimes we want to show off their not-so-soft side. Providing the opportunity to participate in a styled shoot with a touch of ‘edgy’ energy adds even more diversity to their galleries! A few weeks before the shoot, I sent out a pinterest board with some ideas and guidelines, and these girls took off running with the ideas that fit their vibe the most! Blacked out ensembles, graphic tees, iridescent dresses, neon faux-fur coats and bold patterns were all a perfect match for this location! I was thrilled when one of the girls brought a skateboard and a ton of funky shades!! (Thanks, Shayla, for adding to the fun!!!)
My favorite part was how these seniors were each other’s ‘hype girls’ — they encouraged each other throughout the shoot and complemented their posing, how their hair was, etc! I loved hearing them cheer each other on! Adding variation to the gallery throughout your Senior Year is what the Senior Model Team is all about! Five styled shoot opportunities over the course of 8 months create quite the diverse portfolio of portraits in distinct locations, wardrobe vibes and energy overall!
