Three years ago I wrote on a business goals sheet “Styled Shoot at Providence Canyon”. In my former life, I was a teacher and had taken (actually some of these very girls!) a few middle school field trips to Providence Canyon. Seeing its uniqueness and rugged beauty led me into a daydream of organizing a shoot there, hence the business goal for a 2016 shoot.
The 2020SMT has brought some amazing looks to their shoots, and in return, have scored some incredible images. Knowing what we were able to achieve with the Driftwood Beach and Sunflower Session shoots, the standards had been set high. While I always send out a Pinterest Guide of general wardrobe suggestions, I always love seeing the spin that the SMT girls take on the vibe!
“Bucket list” or “goal sheet” items that keep getting bumped back from year to year can sometimes be discouraging, but when a session comes together like this, it makes it totally worth the wait! A huge thanks to these gorgeous young women and their sweet mamas who took the time out of their day to drive to this epic shoot. I would not have wanted to do it with out you! I’ll never get over how surreal this session was!
