When it comes to working with my seniors, I always challenge myself to give them a unique experience even if we are using locations that are pretty common. Carmen + Kyla opted to do their January ‘styled shoot’ session in Downtown Valdosta, which made me work hard to use interesting angles, backgrounds and energy in the midst of the much-used area. Carmen chose to go with a more edgy outfit while Kyla went with a glam vibe, both of which were spot on for the idea of thinking outside the box for downtown!
Believe it or not, we were able to snag these images in three different downtown spots in a 20 minute segment for each girl! Adding variation (even within this one little shoot) to the gallery throughout your Senior Year is what the Senior Model Team is all about! Five styled shoot opportunities over the course of 8 months create quite the diverse portfolio of portraits in distinct locations, wardrobe vibes and energy overall!
