Photographing senior portraits in NYC is a dream that nudged its way into my thinking a couple of years ago. I knew it would epic, full of incredible images and oh-so-fun, but it also made me nervous. I’d been to NYC before, but it’s been years and never have I taken clients there. It was a huge undertaking that took hours of planning, “picking the brain” of several well-traveled friends, and ultimately, a good bit of trust on my clients’ part. The plan was Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park and Times Square as the three main areas, knowing that we had plenty of time for added adventures as we saw the opportunity. And, as expected, NYC did NOT disappoint!
It was absolutely freezing and gusty throughout the entire day, but these girls were incredible in their upbeat attitudes and enthusiasm for the shoot. I am forever thankful for that and have so much love for these girls and their moms!
