A Hallmark Christmas Wedding at The White Room in St. Augustine | December Destination Wedding | Colson Wedding Photography

There’s just something about a December wedding in The White Room that feels a little extra special—but this one truly felt like it came straight out of a Hallmark movie.

From the moment I arrived in St. Augustine, the entire city was glowing. The Nights of Lights was in full swing, the air had that crisp winter feel (as much as Florida allows), and everywhere you turned felt warm, romantic, and full of life. It set the tone perfectly for a wedding that was already so full of meaning.

Faith + Gage met at Liberty University, and from the very beginning, their relationship has been centered on their faith. You could feel that in every part of their day—not in an over-the-top way, but in the quiet, steady, genuine way they care for each other. It’s the kind of love that feels rooted and real.

After dating for several years—and a long engagement to follow—they chose to bring their people together in St. Augustine for a destination wedding that felt both intentional and incredibly personal.

A December Wedding with the Sweetest Christmas Touches

The Christmas touches throughout the day were subtle but so well done. Nothing felt overdone—just enough to bring in that cozy, seasonal feel. Soft candlelight, hints of holiday greenery, and the glow of the city outside made everything feel warm and inviting.

And then once the sun started to set… it all came together.

That “Hallmark Movie” Feeling

If you’ve ever been to St. Augustine during the Nights of Lights, you know—it’s unreal.

As we stepped outside for portraits, the entire city was glowing. The lights reflected off the water, the streets were filled with that quiet kind of magic, and it honestly didn’t even feel real. It felt like a scene you’d expect to see in a movie.

And these two just fit into it so naturally. Nothing forced, nothing overly posed—just them, fully present with each other.

A Day Centered on What Matters Most

What stood out most about this day wasn’t just how beautiful it was—it was what it was built on.

Their faith wasn’t just something mentioned—it was woven into everything. The way they spoke to each other, the way they approached their vows, the way they interacted with their people… it all pointed back to something bigger than just the wedding day itself.

It made the entire day feel grounded, intentional, and incredibly meaningful.

There’s a reason so many couples choose The White Room.

Between the waterfront views, the gorgeous white ceremony space, and the way it transforms for a reception—there is so much variety in one place. And during December, with the entire city lit up around it, it honestly feels even more special.

This day was the perfect mix of meaningful and beautiful.

A destination wedding, a December setting, a couple who truly puts God at the center of their relationship—and a city that felt like it was glowing just for them.

It’s the kind of wedding you don’t just photograph—you remember.

If you’re planning your own wedding at The White Room or in St. Augustine in general, I’d love to be a part of it.
