“The best October day” happened at Buckhead’s The Estate. With it’s established roots and nestled behind a gate and wooded path, this beautiful home-turned-venue opens up to reveal the Atlanta skyline behind it’s roof. Full of natural light, this place was a photographer’s dream – and lent itself to be the perfect venue for Corey and Lizzy. From the details to the floral arch to the Parisian guestbook, every single element was planned out and perfectly so. Lizzy and Corey were warm and welcoming to each other, their guests and their vendors the whole day – which added to the beauty of the day. It is clear that they are so loved by each other, which made the day so easy to photograph. We were able to get the expected, traditional images and took lead from the bride on some requested shots as well. Then we leaned into the creativity that Lizzy and Corey also gave us the trust and freedom to find. It was indeed the best October day and I’m so thankful to have been a part of it.
