Piedmont Park Sessions have been a staple of the SMT program for the past couple of years! I’ve loved shooting at this location for a few reasons!
The city of Atlanta makes for a pretty stunning backdrop — beautiful skyscrapers lie just beyond the park and is something that is impossible to replicate here in Valdosta!
There are also so many pretty little spots to work with — stone steps, reflection pond, gazebo by the lake, and bridges! I adore walking around Piedmont Park and finding just the right spots for my girls and their chosen outfits!
The third reason why Piedmont Park has my heart is the idea of shooting there in the fall. I usually plan this shoot for late October or Early November for the best possible fall foliage… and it has NOT disappointed us! Cooler weather, leaves of every color, being able to wear layers and cute sweaters and hats without sweating… it’s a good time!
The Atlanta shoot at Piedmont Park was attended by Kat, Julia and Brittin, and we were styled by Southern Clothiers! This store had so many great pieces to choose from with our fall ‘city chic’ theme and were so generous in letting us take the pieces to Atlanta and back! I loved what the girls picked out — some pieces that were ‘normal’ for them and some add ons that were a little outside their box — which was the perfect mix!
I loved how these girls meshed so well, cheered each other on during the shoot and nailed every shot we took — such a great session!
