It was an absolute honor to photograph this wedding — to document this milestone day for a family so special to me.
Lindsey and Brandon were married in September at the oh-so-sweet HighGrove Farm in Valdosta, Georgia. Lindsey is from the south Georgia area and was actually one of my (favorite) students and (favorite) babysitters for many years before she moved off to bigger and better things in Montgomery… I can’t be mad at her for leaving, because when she left us, she found Brandon. These two are made for one another. Level headed and kind — protective of each other and so sweetly in love.
Their venue was gorgeous — such lush green grass and leaves still on the trees in on this late summer day. Their Friday wedding day had rain forcasted but we hardly felt a drop at all! Lindsey’s dress was perfect for her — full and girly with a few little hidden “Disney” details. In fact, there were “Hidden Mickeys” and so many Disney moments throughout this day, from the songs in their ceremony to the pearls in the bride’s hair. You’ll notice a few adorable flower girls and may even recognize a couple of them — Hannah and Eve (my two girls) were IN this wedding, and the four of them were absolutely precious! Another incredible touch that Lindsey brought to her day was the addition of Melissa Munger — a live wedding painter that I have admired from afar and was THRILLED to meet, brunch with and work with during this event! She’s the real deal and as kind as she is talented.
It was such a perfect wedding… from the first look to the grand exit, Lindsey and Brandon were completely calm and enjoyed their day! Just as it should be! Best wishes and much love to you both!
