The sweetest day for this precious couple. I adore Sarah and CJ and have known them for years. To see their relationship grow and be a witness to their wedding was such a privilege! Their Lakes Chapel and Clubhouse wedding was all kinds of beautiful — the blue color palette was a perfect choice against the blue of the venue’s clubhouse. Their bridal party consisted of family and the closest of friends — being surrounded by that kind of support on your wedding day is really something special.
The couple chose not to do a first look, so as many bridal party photos + bridal portraits as possible happened before the ceremony. Although Sarah + CJ didn’t do a first look, Sarah did plan a special moment for her dad and her nephew, which resulted in some of the sweetest “first look” images ever! Post ceremony family photos + whole bridal party photos took place with the mossy oaks and pond as the backdrop. We set aside a few minutes for photos with CJ + Sarah knowing that we wanted to spend a few moments later in the evening for sunset photos after they’d had a chance to mingle with their guests. It was such a smooth day and it was such an honor to be a part of this wedding! Much love to you both!
