People ask me sometimes about “dream” clients, events and locations. And while I’m sure that I’ve lived the dream several times and hopefully many more times to come, Ashlyn + Travis’ wedding day was a dream on so many levels! Firstly, this couple is about as laid-back and calm as anyone I’ve ever photographed. They were so trusting of my visions and were all-in on my ideas… so much prep-work had gone in on the front end that it made their wedding day so smooth! The locations of this wedding day were also so perfectly chosen — the ‘getting ready’ place was at Ashlyn’s aunts house, which is decorated SOOO regally and has just the BEST driveway for first look images! The wedding location was on Ashlyn’s family property under an oak that she’s admired for a lifetime — such a special place. And to top it all off, I’ve known and loved this couple for a long time, so being able to get a front-row seat to their first day of marriage was truly something special!
This wedding may have taken place a year and a half ago, but I just couldn’t keep these images hidden any longer! Much love to you both, I’m thankful for your friendship and your trust!! xoxo
