Abi and Jim were set to be married in October of 2020, but then the “you know what” hit, and due to Abi’s job, they needed to shift it to the following spring. The day was rescheduled and replanned and couldn’t have been a better day! While the forecast called for an intense storm all day, it truly only rained for about 30 minutes while Abi got ready, then we were blessed with dry skies for the rest of the event!
So many of their sweet family and friends attended their wedding — ceremony set for the church where her father preaches, she got ready in the home where she grew up most of her years… such a sentimental day! While they bypassed a first look, we had plenty of time for portraits with their friends and family — leaving time for family portraits and bride/groom portraits after the ceremony. We snuck over to VSU’s campus for a few which was special considering that’s where they shared their first kiss!
Overall, it was a beautiful day — full of classic glam, gold, red and black… who can get over those red roses and her bold red lipstick? Such a timeless statement!
