The Mullican family have trusted me with their family portraits since their daughter was about three years old. We’ve done sessions at family property, sessions with extended family, pre-teen portraits of LL, city shoots, and beach shoots. We’ve had such a great time together and I’m so thankful for them — I truly look forward to each session I have with them!
We began this session in downtown St. Augustine at the Lightner Museum. The arches and courtyard spaces are gorgeous and unique to this area. We wandered around the downtown area, finding beautiful walls, alleys and streets with a coastal flair. I am sure to get family shots, sibling images, individuals and parent pictures at each session and try to do these at each spot within the location as well! If we have an hour session, you better believe we will be using up every possible moment of our session time!
Then we headed to the beach! We’d done a beach session before, but it was a sunrise session and also on a beach with a lot of driftwood. So having the vacant beach at sunset was a different feel all together! I love that they’re up for destinations as well as local areas for their sessions — and I especially love that they trust me! Can’t wait for our next shoot!
