Back in the fall I had this idea of bringing the SMT concept to the teen realm in a more petite version. The shoots would stay in town (SMT Group shoots are destination sessions outside the Valdosta area) and we would focus on bringing up the confidence level of the girls on the team. We had six girls join in — everyone had an individual shoot and we all had two fun sessions together!
Reese is the sister of one of my 2021 SMT seniors, so she and her mom trusted me right off the bat and had an idea of what to expect going into it! But let me just say — this girl blew it out of the water! She’s a fashionista and her fits were on point. Rocking the 90s vibe with a cropped top, boyfriend cords and Docs to start off with, then turning into a southern belle with her white Lilly Pulitzer. It was the perfect combo to go from one vibe to another and give a TON of variety to her session! Helping her see herself as the rest of us see her (gorgeous, beautiful smile, kind, supportive sister) through her session is something I hope she will take with her and remember every time she sees these prints in her home!
Lindsay Colson is a natural light senior + teen photographer. She works with each client to create a customized session experience. Setting up each girl to look + feel pampered and to be 100% comfortable before and during the session is a vibe that Lindsay takes pride in.
